Sony is gearing up for the PlayStation 5 Pro. The design of the revamped console, which is expected to be unveiled next month, has been revealed. The image, said to be taken from the packaging box, revealed the main changes in the PS5 Pro.
This is what the PlayStation 5 Pro will look like
The latest PlayStation leaks claim that Sony is planning to announce the PlayStation 5 Pro in September. Drawings based on the new console’s packaging reveal a few design changes.
The PlayStation 5 Pro will have a similar design to the PS5, with a white color and ports on the front. Accordingly, it is possible to say that there will be 2 Type-C and power buttons on the front. The only noticeable difference in the design is the addition of three black stripes on the white plates of the console.
There’s also no disk drive in the leaked design, which means it could be an all-digital model. However, leaks to date have suggested that Sony could release both disk and digital versions, as it did with the PS5.
While the specs are not explicitly stated, earlier rumors have suggested that the PS5 Pro will be 30 percent more performant. It is also expected to offer 50 percent higher GPU performance.
If the PS5 Pro is announced in September as stated in the leak, it will be released about two years later than the standard model. Of course, no official announcement has been made yet.
